Gulls are not picky about their food. One has a clam, the other has a starfish.

   Someone told me—and I don’t know how true this is—that Herring Gulls in particular are into eating starfish. I don’t trust my ID skills with immature gulls, so I can’t say what your gull is, though.

   Great shots, and it’s cool that you got to see this!
